Definitely bookmark this site. So far, Paul Armstrong has only examined Yahoo and CNN in depth. To be fair, it has only been a few weeks and if it’s all being done in Photoshop, I would suspect it to be a somewhat laborious process.
I usually sketch out grid comps like this on paper before designing a new site, but I’ve seldom redrawn the end result and subsequent revisions. Seeing this applied to websites as organic as Yahoo an CNN is pretty cool.
Their content changes so frequently that I think these examples would lend themselves well for love a ‘time-lapse’ version compiled say over the course of a week. That would be REALLY fun to see. LOL NERDD 8-)
I’ll make one for RobotUnicorn soon - can’t promise it would be as interesting though.
